Charlie Brown@槟城 Straits Quay

最近槟城又多了一个景点- Straits Quay。相信很多人都很喜欢这个地方，除了有宜人的风景，这里还有一家大人小孩都爱的主题餐厅- Charlie Brown Cafe。

Charlie Brown Cafe是以Snoopy来做主题的快餐连锁店，是不是很特别啊？餐厅内外都以Snoppy来做布置，真的很吸引人。

据了解，Charlie Brown Café在香港，韩国和新加坡都设有连锁分店，而槟城就是Charlie Brown Cafe正式进军马来西亚的第一站在。

 

在这里，顾客必须亲自到柜台点食物然后付钱， 领取了一个号码再坐回位子，服务员会在过后为我们捧上食物。

这里的价钱属于中上，我们点了两个蛋糕还有三杯饮料就RM60++了。 服务员很快就为我们捧上蛋糕了，可是他们为我们冲水的速度有点慢，当我们的蛋糕快吃完了，我们的饮料才姗姗来迟被送上。

 

在餐厅里面外都不难发现很多拿着相机的人在拍照留恋。 如果你坐在窗边，还可以观赏到窗外的海景，真的是一大享受。 

在餐厅用餐完后，还可以和三五知己，家人或者另一半来到广场外的外边吹吹海风，放慢脚步好好在这舒服的环境放松自己。 爱拍照的朋友，这里英式建筑绝对是你最好的“模特儿”。

朋友们，下次来槟城完的话，不要错过这个地方- Straits Quay还有Charlie Brown这个地方哦！

想问我Staits Quay怎么去？它就在Penang Island Plaza, Tanjung Tokong后面，很简单！

浮罗山背 laksa

 上星期跟他回槟城。回到槟城当然要吃laksa啦。。。相信没有多少人会抗拒laksa的诱惑吧？？

很想吃浮罗山背（Balik Pulau）的 laksa很久了，可是每次都因为不会路而作罢。这一次可不一样啦，我有一个人肉GPS兼司机，当然不会错过这个机会咯！

我们来到了这一家坐落在旧巴刹对面的“川香茶室”，档口写着“浮罗叻沙”，听说他们在新巴刹也是有摆档的。

你们知道吗？这一碗 laksa真的很好吃。我们到的时候，这家店可是人山人海，我们也要站了好一阵子才有位子坐下来。

对我来说“价廉物美”的食物，应该只有槟城才找得到。瞧！这一碗美味可口的laksa只卖 RM3而已！

laksa的价钱跟吉隆坡的差很多，味道更是天渊之别（我可不是夸张哦！）这一碗laksa放足了新鲜蔬菜，汤底也用了足够的鱼肉要熬，配上虾膏，简直就是一级棒！

其实laksa的配料都是大同小异，分别在于汤底，有些人煮的汤底很清，可是这一档的汤底味道十足，而且一点腥味都没有，怪不得我们才坐下来不久就卖完了。

朋友们，要吃的话记得要趁早哦。。。

肉骨茶王

这是我人生中第一次踏进有冷气的地方吃肉骨茶。

以前，总觉得吃肉骨茶的地方是很热闹，那些工作的人是很忙碌地服务顾客。然而，时代变迁了，肉骨茶也能成为连锁店， 而且服务我们的都是外劳服务生，还有写上英文字的菜单。

这家于2007年8月成立的“肉骨茶王”在槟城已经开了三间分店： New World Park， Gurney Plaza， Queensbay Mall。

在新年期间，我和朋友就在机缘下踏进了Gurney Plaza的“肉骨茶王”。

原来这家店，卖的不只传统肉骨茶，还有点心，经过改良的麻辣肉骨茶， 肉骨茶意大利面，还有他们的招牌面-肉骨茶王面等等。

我们点了两人套餐- 肉骨茶+干肉骨茶。整个套餐还附加白饭，油条，清香豆芽，点心，龟苓膏以及茶叶蛋。

其实这整个套餐也适合三个人份，所以我们另加一碗白饭。虽然是套餐，但是饮料是另外点的。

两锅肉骨茶卖相都很不错，味道也不错。然而或许是我们习惯吃传统带汤肉骨茶，所以不是很会欣赏干肉骨茶。

据我所知，这家店的肉骨茶面可是很有名的哦，很多人都赞好。 如果你有机会前来，别忘了尝试哦!

而且这里有很多改良版的肉骨茶，例如：红酒肉骨茶，鸭肉骨茶，麻辣鸡肉骨茶。。。都是店家用心改良的，都值得我们一试。

北海斗母宫游记

假期的时候，朋友告知我在北海Raja Uda斗母宫有一个pasar malam， 现在每晚都营业直到正月十五。

我很喜欢“pasar malam”, 因为我可以买到价廉物美的东西，就这样我们就兴致勃勃地去了。当初我还以为朋友是说这个夜市在斗母宫附近，可是当我到达目的地的时候，才发现原来所谓的夜市就在斗母宫的范围内，就是这个夜市环绕着斗母宫。这里买有很多新年的用品如：新年衣，鞋，新年糕饼，新春装饰品。。。。这里卖最多的就是衣服，而且样样都很便宜哦。。。

这里值得一提的是，进入Raja Uda的美食街开始，这里的大道开始挂起了大约有2km的红灯笼，好漂亮哦。。

这个位于北海Raja Uda的斗母宫，是一间很漂亮的九皇爷殿，可是我一直都没机会进去参观。这间斗母宫的宫殿是以三殿连接式的中国传统模型建造，屋檐层层叠叠, 最具特色就是每层屋顶以碗雕制成的龙像。

宫内各殿壁上所有的石雕图案，神仙人物（如福禄寿，八仙过海图），壁画皆由顶尖工匠雕制而成。

对我来说北海斗母宫不止是一个宗教场所，它也是一个旅游胜地。

那时我去到的时候，也有外国游客在那边参观，而且这里美丽的建筑物和夜景吸引了无数的摄影发烧友到来拍照。 

美丽的雕刻还有这个开到凌晨12点的pasar malam等着你们哦。。。新年的时候记得到此一游哦！

Genting Hill not Genting Highland

Imagine that you have your lovely dinner on the hill accompanied with beautiful sunset, it is such a romantic scene,  right?  

The place that I want to introduce today is Bukit Genting Hill (also called Little Genting) which located at Balik Pulau.

Actually it is a hill top restaurant.  

They serve Thai cuisine, famous with their kerabu, green curries, plad padprik, pud pet chicken, lemon squids and Tomyam. 

For me, the price is considered reasonable. 

There are plenty of places for you to choose from and there are also private dining areas with excellent views facing the south western part of Penang Island. 

As long as you choose the seating next to the hill slope, the view is just magnificent.

I do like this place. We can pay for the delicious Thai food but we can‘t buy the nature beauty here. 

The sunset scenery here is sooooo nice. 

You definitely can't feel the beauty of nature through the photos unless you come to here.

From the restaurant we can see the amazing sea view as well as the wide, peaceful paddy fields.  

 On the other side of the hill, we can see the towns in Balik Pulau.

It is quite difficult to find. You need to watch out for some road signs to bring you to the top. The road is pretty steep and narrow. 

For visitors, I would advice that to arrange with your tour guide or hotel for transportation. I don't think taxi would be able to bring you up there.   

Oh ya, I know that someone will say: “ I use GPS la!”.

For your information, my friends get lost at Balik Pulau because GPS couldn’t bring them to the destination. 

Actually there are a lot more to discover here such like the theme park, flora and fauna. 

I wish I can take more picture there and share with you all when I visit there again.

Batu Ferringhi日落

喜欢看日落吗？？

我喜欢海边，更喜欢在海边看日落。

在繁忙的槟岛， 却是有个可以让人们放下脚步，好好放松自己的地方。

Batu Ferringhi 就是一个最好的地方。

我喜欢在那边看日落，享受那边与世无争的感觉。

无可否认，那边的海水已经被污染，但是却不减它的魅力。

每当假日的时候，那边就特别多人尤其是日落的时候。

从傍晚六点坐在那个沙滩上，静静地看着太阳慢慢往下移，一直到天色完全暗下来。。。

如果有机会来到槟城，不要只顾着吃喝玩乐，也不要只顾着shopping。。
这里的大自然其实也很值得你用心去欣赏。

有些人一生忙忙碌碌，最后把身体弄垮了； 有些人只会盲目地追求物质享受，结果欠债累累。。。其实又有多少人留心看看我们的周围其实还有很多美丽的事物？？
